ivien is a Principal at Pear. She joined after graduating from The Wharton School, where she worked for the Pear team as a Fellow for two years. She is passionate about backing and supporting founders who are mission-driven and who hope to improve the world we live in with technology.
Prior to joining Pear, Vivien worked on BizOps, New Products and Growth for Airbnb Homes and Transportation, and was a consultant at BCG focused on defining innovation and growth strategies for healthcare, consumer and technology companies. During her MBA, she was the co-host of The Pulse Podcast by Wharton Digital Health and planned social events for 500+ Wharton Entrepreneurship Club members. She studied Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University and is proud to have been the President of the Robotics Club in high school.
Outside of work, Vivien loves spending time outdoors, skiing on fresh powder, cycling through California's hills, cooking Taiwanese food, and admiring art in all forms.
