Danielle joined Pear as an Associate on the Investment Team in 2021. Previously, she was an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America in the Equity Capital Markets group, working on initial public offerings and equity raises for companies in technology, media, and telecom including The Real Real, Medallia, Uber, C3.ai, and Astra.
At Pear, Danielle currently serves on the investment team, investing in consumer, climate, and vertical applications and leading Pear’s Dorm and Scout strategies. Previously, she was Mar’s Chief of Staff, helping run Strategy and Operations for the firm. In the past, she worked on the Dorm team, helping to run Pear’s university programs, including Pear Competition, Pear Garage, and Pear Fellows.
Danielle graduated from Columbia University with a BS in Operations Research and a minor in Computer Science.

What’s your favorite book?
The book I grab the most is Cook This Book by Molly Baz. I love her voice that comes through the pages and the unapologetic amount of garlic and salt she recommends for her recipes.
What career path did you want to pursue when you were a kid?
When I was five, I wanted to be an animal trainer — a good indicator of my love for animals and bossiness as a child.
What are your favorite sports teams?
Hands down, the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics and Ice Skating teams. My friends and I have been to both post-Olympic U.S. tours.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Hiking and running through Marin and SF.
