Pear Fellows is a highly selective program that offers exceptional students an access point into the world of venture capital. Pear Fellows will work closely with the Pear investment team to learn every aspect of the industry -- discovering the best founders, deep-diving into company diligence, executing the investment process, and supporting portfolio companies.
Pear has built an infrastructure to support student founders. Over the past 6 years, Pear has invested in 117 student founders of companies that have collectively raised $650M and are now valued at more than $2B. These companies include Branch, Solvvy, Doxel, Nova Credit, Affinity, BioAge, Capella Space, and many more young companies with rapid growth trajectories.
What does it mean to be a Pear Fellow?
As Fellow you access opportunities across sourcing, diligence, investment execution, and supporting portfolio companies. You can tailor the experience to what you want to learn.
Responsibilities might include:
Reaching out to students who are working on interesting startup ideas.
Research specific companies or investment areas.
Advise or assist Pear Dorm companies based on your interests and expertise.
Strengthen the entrepreneurial community on campus through events, e.g. speakers, dinners, panels, office hours, etc.
Fellows are expected to commit 4-8 hours per week, depending on the academic calendar.
You will also be invited to Venture Summit, which is a VC 101 hosted by Pear's Investment Partners plus other experienced investors and founders.

We are building a diverse group of Pear Fellows with different backgrounds, interests and degrees. We expect the group to include undergraduates, graduate students from various departments. We are not looking for any specific work, startup or investment experience.
We want people who can be Pear ambassadors on campus, people who are genuinely interested in help others, who show initiative, and who see a career in entrepreneurship and technology.
